Terms of Service

Acceptance

By using Vollis you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Vollis is operated by Vollis LLC, a New York limited liability company.

Beta service

Vollis is in beta. Features change, appear, and occasionally go away while we build it with the consultants using it. We will give account holders reasonable notice before removing something they rely on, but the service will keep changing during this period.

Accounts

Accounts are provided to consultants directly by Vollis. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity that happens under your account. When you invite a student, an editor, or another collaborator, you are responsible for who you give access to and for what they can see.

Your data

You retain ownership of the information you enter. You are responsible for having the right to store the information you enter about your students and their families, and for using it lawfully. Our handling of that information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use Vollis to break the law, to infringe someone else’s rights, to store information you have no right to store, or to attempt to gain access to accounts or data that are not yours. Do not attempt to disrupt or overload the service.

Fees

Vollis is free during the beta. If we introduce a paid plan we will publish the price and give notice before any account is charged, and no account will be charged without agreeing to it first. Vollis records and sends invoices on your behalf. It does not process payments, and money never moves through Vollis.

Availability

Vollis is provided on an as-is basis. We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Ending your use

You may stop using Vollis at any time and ask us to delete your account and the records in it. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. If we end the service, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to export your data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
